Melfunction - Patience  Later on, I woke up on a jagged cradle. I groaned and lifted up.  
  "Good morning," boomed a deep voice. I glanced up. A black, lion-like face with glowing blue eyes looked down at me. Ironhide. He shifted and I realized I wasn't in a cradle - I was in his arms.  
  "What time is it?" I asked.  
  "Eight fourty-five PM," he replied, setting me down. "You fell asleep after you finished eating."  
  Eating...? Oh yeah, the ice cream. It always made me a bit tired.

Malfunction - Rocky Road  Silence. The only thing I could hear was the pounding of my heart. Stay still... Stay still... Slow, heavy footsteps behind me. Good thing I was hiding behind a boulder.  
  Stay still.    ...    "Open fire!"    SHIT!    I somersaulted away from the boulder as an electric shock rattled it to pieces. I rolled to a stand and booked across the floor, trying to find the safety area. Thre was gunfire all around me. A black figure leapt over my head and landed in front of me, gears rumbling.

Malfunction - Can I Go?  Recon and I were up for the rest of the night. We didn't feel like going back to sleep, which made us bored out of our minds. Tom and Grandpa found us the next morning in the recreation facility playing Dance Dance Revolution.  
  "Rematch! You cheated on that one," I complained, glaring at Recon.  
  "You're just mad that I win all the time," he taunted, waving his tail in my face. I snatched him up.  
  "Right," I said, holding his face to mine. He purred threateningly and flipped out of my hand, reaching out. His claws hooked onto my neck. "Ow!" I yelped.

Malfunction - Hearing Voices  Five hours later, Nikki and I were heading back to our rooms. The party had been great. Tom and "Grandpa" had had the recreation facility closed off for private use - meaning AAF members only. And for the next few hours we'd partied hard.  
  "Set your clock," I told Nikki when we got to her room. "We have training tomorrow." She groaned and thumped her head against the doorway.  
  "Alright. See you tomorrow." She disappeared into her apartment and shut the door.  
  I was walking down the hallway the led to the humans' quarters. My room just had to be the one at the end. I didn't care Malfunction - Hearing Voices

I'm Still Around...

I promise, just everything is still kinda wonky over here...first some updates for those who were worried...

My Grandfather is doing much better, though he'll probably have to remain on an oxygen tank for quite a while. He is currently at home.

My Grandmother broke her elbow and is undergoing physical therapy for it. It's still up in the air on if surgery is going to be needed or not.

Haven't had much time to even think about writing or drawing, so that's going to be inactive for quite a while yet.

I really only wanted to give a shout out that, yes, I'm still around. I'll probably wind up deleting all these messages that have built up in my box, but I'll try to get around everyone's sites to read any updates or what not.
