In order to try to make this somewhat short, I'll just try to bulletpoint the events over here:
-Step-brother moved in around the time Cricket (our dog) passed away....I'll just say that due to his behavior, I wish he wasn't here. Enough said.
-I finally got an internship with our local newspaper for the spring semester. Now if the stupid HR department would contact me with the information I need to get the ball rolling....
-My grandmother's physical therapy place closed down at literally last minute so we had to find a new place pronto. It worked out for the best, we all like the new place better.
-My mother was laid off about a week and a half ago. The really sucky part was that she had just gotten 10 years with the company. Nothing to do with her work ethic...it is that 75 percent of the company was also laid off all over the country at the same time. Her being laid off is really sucky considering she was the breadwinner of the family and that my dad and I are on her insurance. They have given her a severance package in which health insurance will be covered through February. I'm not too worried about myself, since I'm sure I can get it through my job since I work more than 20 hours a week. I think she won't have a problem finding another job, but we don't think that she'll be making what she had, so we're tightening our belts a bit.
Well, I believe that all the major things, I'm not going to mention much of the minor stuff, except that I've decided to learn how to crochet. Yeah, yeah, make fun if you want too, but I've always wanted to make a throw blanket for myself, and figure out how to make my own patterns for afgans, bags, dolls and such.
I'll be hanging around, but I have to get through the mountain of messages in my journals and deviant watches. Anyone have a shovel?

Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then be not too eager to deal out death in the name of justice. Even the wise cannot see all ends. - Gandalf

Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on.
